About Me

I have been practicing massage therapy since 1996. I was voted "Best Massage Therapist in Regina" by Prairie Dog Magazine in spring of 2009. I have taken numerous continuing educational courses, some of which include Somatic Exercise Teacher Training, Lomi Lomi (Hawaiian Massage), Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular Therapy, Thai Massage, Chi Nei Tsang, Craniosacral Therapy ... My treatments incorporate different aspects of all my training, in a unique blend of soft tissue work that is quite firm, but not overly painful, and has been very effective with my clients.

Mothers to be, I can help, I have a special side-lying support system on which you can be properly supported while receiving your massage. By the way, it's not just for expecting mothers, anyone that cannot or does not like to lay prone or supine (face-down or face-up) on the massage table can request this cushion.

I use organic MCT oil made from coconuts for my treatments, as I try to avoid toxic chemicals in my life as much as possible. I do not use synthetic scents on my person, in the laundry or in my treatment room, so feel confident that if you have a chemical sensitivity, you are safe with me.

In my free time, I enjoy playing my koto (Japanese floor harp). I also enjoy reading and studying languages. I can speak Spanish (not fabulously, but functionally from university studies and from an exchange program to Mexico), a little German (from university studies) and have attempted to learn Japanese with a private tutor. I enjoy travelling, and have had the opportunity to live in Kingston Jamaica for six months where I taught computers to children in a school for the blind and adults with the Jamaica Society for the Blind.
